Le groupe de metal gothique allemand LORD OF THE LOST sortira son nouvel album de reprises, intitulé WEAPONS OF MASS SEDUCTION , le 29 décembre 2023 via NAPALM RECORDS.
Le groupe a déclaré que plusieurs éditions de cet album seront disponibles, avec plus ou moins de chansons.

« Bien qu’il s’agisse d’un album de reprises, Weapons Of Mass Seduction confirme la capacité créative de LORD OF THE LOST à s’approprier même des chansons inattendues, et confirme leur statut de groupe qui ne se limite pas aux normes de genre et aux influences. »
Le leader du groupe, CHRIS HARMS, déclare à propos de la chanson :
« Je me souviens exactement du moment où j’ai entendu cette chanson pour la première fois. J’avais 13 ans, c’était l’été et j’étais assis à l’arrière de l’Opel Manta décapotable dans laquelle je me rendais à la piscine en plein air avec ma sœur aînée et son petit ami. Rarement l’énergie d’une seule chanson ne m’a autant saisi. Nous aimerions rendre un peu de cette énergie en rendant hommage à BILLY IDOL et à cette chanson par le biais de notre reprise et de la vidéo qui l’accompagne. »
